The Tinker has a beautiful piebald coat, a magnificent mane, a full tail andlots of hair on the fetlocks.
Fun Fact:In winter, some Tinker horses grow a funny-looking moustache.
In the Tinker are the mighty Shire horse, the powerful Clydesdale, themajestic Friesian and the sure-footed Dales Pony. These were bred by travellersto the UK and Ireland to make for a strong and sturdy pull- and workhorse. Atthe same time they stayed very much on top of the horses characters. They shouldbe absolutely gentle and reliable. To date, the Tinker is known and loved forthese characteristics. It is therefore often used as a therapy horse.
